Camping chairs are ten a penny, but finding one that packs down really small, sets up quickly and easily, and is also extremely light and handy is a real challenge. Now the search is over: the Skandika Camping Chair Compact is exactly what the name promises – compact and so much more. And now it’s available as a practical set of 2.
Versatile use These 2 comfortable chairs fold down to a very compact size and each weighs just 1.4 kg. They’re perfect to take absolutely anywhere – camping, picnics, beach days or festivals. They also look great in the garden at home or out on the balcony. A brilliant little all-rounder.
No loose parts The clever bungee cord system in the high-quality aluminium frame keeps all the poles together, exactly where they belong. Nothing gets lost and set-up is extremely quick and super simple – no tools required. Just stretch the seat fabric over the frame and the Compact is ready to use.
Seat cover with “Cool-Mesh” The Compact also features padding at the top of the backrest and integrated “Cool-Mesh” panels in the seat cover to keep you feeling fresh, even on warm days. Both cover and frame are wonderfully easy to care for – simply wipe them down with a damp cloth.
Protection from sinking in Each of the four plastic feet is fitted with a wide base plate to reduce sinking into sand or soft ground – especially practical for family picnics in the dunes or chilled evenings on muddy festival fields.
Practical storage On the front edge of the seat there is a two-part organiser pocket, partly made from mesh, to keep your phone, drink bottle and sun cream within easy reach. When you don’t need it, it can be folded up neatly under the seat and secured with hook-and-loop. It doesn’t get much more practical than that.
Thoughtful details The robust carry bag with zip, handle and hanging loop makes it easy to transport the chair set and store it dust-free between trips. Reinforced corners on the cover and end caps on the frame tubes help to prevent damage to the fabric during assembly.
