Design and materials The CAMP ASCENT AUTO/SEMI-AUTO is made of steel to ensure rigidity and durability. Its minimalist design reduces weight without compromising technical performance, offering an ideal compromise between lightness and strength for mountaineering and ski touring.
Versatility of bindings This model offers total interoperability of binding systems: automatic to semi-automatic conversion possible thanks to the included stirrup, and the option to adopt a universal binding via a specific heel piece sold separately. Suitable for use on rigid and semi-rigid shoes.
Adjustments and fitting The flexible and asymmetrical adjustment bar with double-row holes allows for micrometric length adjustment, complemented by an adjustable front wire with 2 positions and an adjustable rear binding with 2 positions and a 3-position heel piece, covering a wide range of sizes.
Anti-balling and transport Supplied with active front and rear anti-balling to prevent snow accumulation, the crampon features a compact structure that takes up little space in the bag. A CAMP crampon cover is included for transport.
Weight and compatibility Designed to limit bulk, the indicated weight is 330 g (half pair without anti-balling) with a complete configuration (front and rear anti-balling with automatic wire) of approximately 728 g per pair. Compatible with sizes ranging from 34 to 48.
