Petzl Irvis Hybrid Leverlock Universal crampons combine steel front points and aluminum back for an excellent weight/performance compromise.
10 points including 2 wide front points for better flotation on snow and good grip on ice.
Leverlock Universal attachment system compatible with shoes equipped with a rear welt and automatic or semi-automatic mounting depending on configuration.
Front/back connection via Cord-Tec (PEHD cord) to reduce weight while maintaining robustness.
Equipped with Antisnow (anti-balling plates) and supplied with Fil and Fil Flex components for compatibility with shoes with or without a front welt.
Delivered with a protective and transport cover for secure handling and storage.

Hybrid and Lightweight Design

The Petzl Irvis Hybrid Leverlock Universal combines steel at the front for performance on ice and aluminum at the back to lighten the overall weight. This mixed design results in a compact and high-performing crampon, optimized for glacier hiking, ski touring, and approaches.

Stability and Efficiency on Snow and Ice

The two wide front points provide better flotation on snow while the steel composition at the front allows for steps on ice and some mixed passages. The 10 points ensure effective propulsion and good stability during progression.

Versatile Attachment System

The Leverlock Universal system ensures compatibility with most shoes with a rear welt. The crampon is modular between automatic and semi-automatic mounting by changing the front part, making the Irvis Hybrid suitable for different styles of use.

Cord-Tec Link and Included Accessories

The connection between the steel front and aluminum back is made by a Cord-Tec strap (PEHD) that minimizes weight without compromising durability. The product includes Fil and Fil Flex components, as well as anti-balling plates and a transport cover.
