Traditionally, you might have used a cricket ball in a sock, but now you can use the Gray-Nicolls deluxe batting mallet to hit your bat. The luxury mallet is used as part of the preparation method for hitting a bat. The mallet is used to soften the face of a new cricket bat so that it is ready for use in the nets or during the match. Easy to hold and use, the mallet has a comfortable handle and is very durable.
