The Easton EC70 Aero handlebar is designed for increased aerodynamics and comfort on long rides, its construction is identical to that of the EC90 Aero but composed of EC70 carbon fiber. TaperWall ™ technology and Intelligent Flexibility combine to offer a perfectly thought-out handlebar that weighs just 255 grams.Details Easton EC70 Carbon material. Taperwall / MCD (Maximum Contact Drop) technology Internal conduit. Reach 80 mm. Drop 125 mm. Handlebar diameter: 31.8 mm. UD carbon material. Axis-to-axis measurement. Weight: 255g (42 cm)Taperwall technologyTaperWall technology began with computer-assisted drawing benches that create multiple layers on the same tube; tube walls can be reinforced anywhere with incredible precision. For carbon composite components, TaperWall technology applies more material to wall surfaces where rigidity is paramount, and less material to areas requiring greater compliance. The advantage is clear, whether in aluminum or composite: TaperWall technology radically improves strength and wear resistance, with less weight. What's more, TaperWall technology produces a lively, responsive output quality and better shock absorption.
