[Product Overview] The DYU C2 is a folding electric bicycle designed specifically for urban commuting, featuring a magnesium alloy integrated die‑cast frame that balances lightweight construction with structural strength. With a net weight of 23.6 kg, unfolded dimensions of 1420×525×1080 mm, and folded dimensions of 815×435×565 mm, it fits easily into car trunks or home storage spaces. The 16×2.5‑inch all‑terrain tires, combined with a mid‑mounted suspension system and saddle cushioning, effectively absorb road vibrations to enhance daily riding comfort. Whether for daily commuting, short trips, or scenarios requiring flexible storage, the C2 offers a balanced solution that combines practicality and portability.
[Lightweight Magnesium Alloy Frame] The C2 features a frame made from magnesium alloy using an integrated die‑casting process. This material maintains structural rigidity while effectively keeping the overall weight in check. Magnesium alloy has a lower density than traditional aluminium alloy, making the 23.6 kg total weight highly portable within its folding bike class. The frame adopts a "twin‑fish" contour design – compact, clean, and well‑suited for frequent folding and carrying in urban environments. The material itself offers good corrosion resistance, and paired with an IP54 water resistance rating, it is suitable for riding in light rain during daily commutes.
[Quick Folding & Portable Storage] The vehicle supports a two‑step quick‑fold mechanism with a simple operation that completes the transition from unfolded to folded in as little as 5 seconds. Once folded, the dimensions of 815×435×565 mm take up minimal space, making it easy to store in office corners, apartment balconies, or car trunks. For users who combine cycling with public transport, this portable design effectively reduces carrying burdens. The pedal ground clearance is 115 mm, ensuring the folding process is smooth with minimal risk of interference with the ground. The folded structure remains stable, facilitating short‑distance carrying or storage.
[Performance & Range] The C2 is rated at 48 volts, capable of handling city roads and gradients of up to 15°. The top speed is 25 km/h, in compliance with electric bicycle standards in most regions. The 48V 7.5Ah high‑density lithium battery delivers a range of over 40 km in pure electric mode, with pedal‑assist mode available to extend riding distance. Charging time is 4‑5 hours, and the charger accepts 100‑240V household power. A speed sensor ensures smooth coordination between power output and pedalling rhythm, enhancing ride fluidity.
[Safety & Comfort Features] The braking system uses front and rear dual disc brakes, providing stable and responsive braking suited to frequent start‑stop riding in urban traffic. The IP54 water resistance rating protects key components from splashes, adapting to damp conditions encountered in daily commuting. The mid‑mounted suspension layout, combined with a saddle cushioning structure, effectively filters out fine road vibrations, improving comfort on longer rides. The enlarged rear rack offers cargo‑carrying capacity with consideration for suspension, making it convenient for daily item transport. The operating temperature range of ‑10°C to 45°C covers typical seasonal climates throughout the year.
[Summary] The DYU C2 delivers a balanced configuration across four key dimensions – lightweight construction, foldable portability, power and range, and safety and comfort – all tailored to the real‑world needs of urban commuting. The magnesium alloy frame and quick‑fold mechanism address users' core requirements for portability, while the dual disc brakes and suspension system provide reliable safety and riding comfort. The overall design language and functional configuration are practicality‑oriented, making it an ideal choice for city users seeking convenient mobility in limited spaces.
