Motor assistance and adaptable paceThe HillMiles MilePort 1 electric city bike uses a 250W brushless hub motor at 36V and has a stated maximum speed of 25 km/h. Power assistance is coordinated with 7-speed drivetrain, giving the rider an appropriate choice of cadence or assistance for starts, level streets and moderate gradients. The motor supports pedalling rather than replacing responsible control, so the rider should select a suitable pace for traffic, surface and weather. Published performance is based on reference test conditions; rider mass, tyre pressure, temperature, gradients and frequent stops can change acceleration, speed and energy use during real journeys.Battery capacity and practical rangeEnergy is supplied by a removable 36V 13Ah battery, equivalent to 468Wh, and the stated assisted range is 80-100 km under the product reference conditions. The battery is removable for convenient indoor charging, while a normal full charge takes about 6-7 hours with the supplied charger. Range is not a fixed guarantee: assistance level, payload, hills, wind, surface, temperature, tyre pressure and stop-start riding all affect distance per charge. Charge the battery in a dry, ventilated area, use only the specified charger and inspect the connector before use. Recharge regularly during storage so the battery is ready for the next commute.Braking control and riding visibilityFor speed control, the HillMiles MilePort 1 is equipped with front and rear 160 mm mechanical disc brakes. The braking layout gives the rider independent front and rear control, while the electric assistance stops as described by the product controls. Visibility equipment and reflective elements are included in a foldable step-through frame, front and rear mudguards, rear carrier, LED headlight and brake light, display and side stand. Before each ride, check brake response, pad and rotor condition, cable or hose routing and the operation of every light. Actual stopping distance varies with speed, load, tyre grip, rain and road contamination, so leave a safe margin, reduce speed early and follow the traffic rules that apply to electric bicycles in the riding area.Tyres, suspension and load support20 x 3.0-inch all-terrain fat tyres work together with a spring-suspended front fork to manage normal road vibration and uneven urban surfaces. The product data gives a bike weight of 22.5 kg and a maximum supported load of 120 kg. These values help riders judge handling, parking and transport requirements without overstating capability. Correct tyre pressure is essential for grip, efficiency and braking, and the load should be secured and distributed so it cannot interfere with steering, wheels or brakes. Inspect tyres, rims, spokes or wheel bodies, suspension fasteners and axle hardware regularly, especially after rough-surface use.Everyday equipment and practical designDaily practicality comes from a foldable step-through frame, front and rear mudguards, rear carrier, LED headlight and brake light, display and side stand. The design is intended for commuting, errands and mixed urban routes while retaining the core controls of a bicycle. Adjust the saddle and handlebar within their marked limits, confirm that quick releases and the folding mechanism are fully locked, and test the brakes before setting off. Keep loose clothing and luggage away from the chain and wheels. Clean the bike with a soft damp cloth, avoid pressure washing electrical parts and follow the maintenance intervals in the user manual. Careful setup and regular inspection preserve predictable handling, useful equipment and reliable assistance over repeated journeys.
