Experience maximum stability and cooking pleasure in the roughest conditions with this powerful remote-canister gas burner.
Sold and shipped by Outdoor Food
When the terrain becomes unpredictable and the wind picks up, the GSI Glacier Remote Stove provides the security you need for your outdoor meals. Unlike burners that screw directly onto the gas tank, this stove stands on its own sturdy legs, connected to the fuel source by a flexible hose. This ensures a lower center of gravity, allowing you to cook safely with larger pots even on uneven ground. It is the ideal partner for expeditions where reliability and balance make the difference between a quick snack and a full outdoor dinner.
The adventurous character of this burner is truly reflected in its versatility. Thanks to the remote hose connection, you can easily isolate the gas tank from the cold or invert it for better fuel flow in lower temperatures. The wide burner head ensures excellent flame distribution, which is essential for cooking your food evenly without burning. Despite its robust build, the burner folds surprisingly compact, fitting effortlessly into your backpack among the rest of your gear.
Technically, the Glacier Remote Stove is a stainless steel powerhouse. The construction is resistant to corrosion and the heaviest loads. The flame control is extremely precise, giving you full control over the cooking process, from gentle simmering to rapidly boiling water. The sturdy, folding legs provide a wide base suitable for heavier cooking pots, while the metal braiding on the hose ensures extra safety and a long lifespan in all weather conditions.
