DESCRIPTION:

Vitamin C is also necessary for the production of collagen (a structural protein in connective tissue), so it is important for the health of skin, bones and joints. Additionally, Vitamin C is needed for the metabolism of amino acids, the synthesis of neurotransmitters and the utilization of many nutrients such as folic acid and iron. It is also a very effective antioxidant that can help maintain healthy tissues by neutralizing free radicals.
