The K2 Waive is a snowboard boot designed for long days on the slopes. We filled the Waive with the best split-specific features, starting with the sole. Our Harshmellow material absorbs vibrations and is wrapped in a complete Vibram V5 sole—durable, lightweight, and grippy. A heel stabilizer compatible with crampons helps keep your heel aligned during ascents and provides extra security on descents. We modified our Endo Construction heel counter to allow the K2 Waive snowboard boot to have a designated walk mode. By loosening the BOA, it will allow the calf panel of the boot to open, giving you a longer stride while maintaining all the stability needed for descents. A traditional lace, outer Power Strap, and lace cover secure the fit and prevent snow from entering the boot. Undoubtedly, the magic begins inside, with our Intuition Pro Foam liner featuring Spaceheater, which is warm, comfortable, and thermo-moldable. A comfortable and customizable Conda heel retention system keeps your foot in place and eliminates heel lift when the terrain gets a bit tricky.
