The DBX 5.5 Jr OS brace has been independently tested in labs and by riders: it demonstrates a significant reduction in neck forces, helping to lower the risk of serious cervical vertebrae injuries. The design aims to transfer load on impact away from the most vulnerable bony areas.
The neck protection cut is developed to keep the helmet edge away from vulnerable bones, while the helmet contact platform allows controlled freedom of movement. The cutaway front improves comfort and fit for young riders.
The SureFit sliding adjusters offer three-way adjustment for precise positioning, and the rear CoreFlex thoracic strut follows body movements for more comfortable wear without compromising safety.
The composite platform provides effective force reduction; the injected foam padding is durable and easy to clean. The low-profile snap attachment system and the emergency release mechanism simplify use.
