The Levenhuk New Vegas ED 12x50 binoculars feature lenses made from extra-low dispersion (ED) glass that is prized by professionals for its ability to eliminate color fringing and to ensure true-to-life color reproduction. The multi-layer coatings on the prisms and lenses enhance light transmission. This allows for effective use at dusk while ensuring the image stays bright, detailed, and true to life.
The Levenhuk New Vegas ED 12x50 binoculars are resistant to environmental factors with an IP67 rated housing that provides complete protection against dust, sand, dirt, snow, and rain. The binoculars can even withstand brief immersion in water. The housing is nitrogen-filled to prevent lens fogging and protect the internal components from oxidation and corrosion. It is constructed from a magnesium-aluminum alloy, which is a high-strength and durable material that is resistant to extreme operating temperatures (from –10°C to +53°C), impacts, and shocks.
