The fastest road helmet ever designed by Mavic. Designed to deliver aerodynamic performance in all riding positions and turn marginal gains into a decisive advantage.Details of the COMETE ULTIMATE Helmet:The fastest road helmet, whether in an aerodynamic position or an upright positionDesigned in a wind tunnel and refined using CFD, the Comete Ultimate outperforms the top 10 helmets on the World Tour.It saves an average of 9 watts in the upright position—where riders spend most of their time—and performs even better in the aerodynamic position, with a 7.5-watt gain over its closest competitor and an average gain of 15 watts across the entire test panel. It is also equipped with AeroFlow disruptors. This key design feature alone saves up to 5 watts by accelerating the airflow just before it separates from the helmet.Over a 50-km race, the COMETE ULTIMATE can save you up to 11 seconds compared to the top competitor.High-level thermal comfort without compromising performanceThe CFD-optimized AirChannel system connects wide front vents, deep internal channels, and efficient rear exhaust ports to maximize airflow through the helmet. It ensures active ventilation without compromising aerodynamic performance. Coolmax technology, now included in the MIPS Air Node PRO, improves moisture management and provides lasting thermal comfort.Precise fit and stable retention for enhanced protection. The new RS360 retention system guarantees precise adjustment and a secure, stable fit at high speeds. The new Mips® Air Node Pro offers enhanced safety by redirecting rotational forces in the event of an impact. The lightweight, adjustable straps fit naturally, stay securely in place, and integrate seamlessly with eyewear.Weight (M): 300 g
