The Octave is an all-mountain boot with a medium flex, designed to combine comfort and performance. The BOA® Zonal system allows you to independently adjust the upper and lower zones of the boots. The Octave uses RIDE's Sequence lacing system. The Tongue Tied™ Hybrid Harness internal lacing system makes these boots a benchmark on the market, keeping your heel perfectly locked in place. The Tongue Tied™ Hybrid Harness system is activated by the internal lacing and combines an integrated upper harness with RIDE's Tongue Tied™ technology, running the internal laces through the corners of the boot's outer tongue. In practice, when you tighten the liner, you tighten the top of the boots, press the tongue against your foot and keep your heel firmly locked in place. All of these technologies make the Octave one of the best-fitting snowboard boots on the market. The zonal dials optimise external tightening, while the internal system eliminates any heel lift. The fully heat-mouldable Intuition™ liner guarantees a custom fit for every foot. Velcro top closure, centre tongue liner, Dual J-bar ankle support and RIDE's Impacto Primo insole: everything is designed for a perfect fit. The Flexlite 2.0 outsole ensures reliable grip, even on the iciest surfaces, while RIDE's +Slime midsole absorbs vibrations for optimum comfort all day long.
