The EVO Sport model also benefits from the innovative two-piece shell and cuff construction, combined with an anatomical fit. This construction offers both a highly robust, fibre-reinforced outer shell for optimised downhill performance, as well as maximum freedom of movement on the ascent. The boot's low weight and its two-piece EVO Dual Link cuff, which offers a 65° range of motion, promote a highly fluid and energy-saving stride. Once you reach the summit, the cuff can be easily tightened using the Hike & Ride buckle and the Velcro Power Strap, allowing for an outstanding fit and optimal power transfer. Furthermore, the wide Velcro strap features a memory function and Quick Release fasteners, meaning it only needs to be adjusted once. Combined with a stretch gaiter, the shell's wider central opening allows for easy entry and exit. The multi-layer liner is particularly lightweight and ensures good heel hold, as well as pleasant warmth and comfort. MyFit technology allows the Quantum EVO to be adapted to the shape of the foot. The profiled Vibram (Rocker) sole offers good grip in the snow and while climbing.
