As a hybrid, this boot with a 130 Flex combines the best of touring and freeride, performing impressively in open terrain with maximum control during the descent and an excellent fit for a smooth ascent. At the heart of the FREE PRO is the redesigned and durable IF Touring PRO liner, featuring three-part Dalbello PuRE (Polyurethane Recycled Enforcement) technology for more efficient power transmission to the shell, a firm heel hold, and impressive comfort. A full-length lacing system and a memory foam tongue complement every foot shape for individual adaptability and a perfect fit. The innovative two-part bonded shell construction ensures a low overall weight and high rigidity. In combination with the eXtra Dual Link cuff, it allows for more direct transmission of control impulses for the descent and sufficient freedom of movement for the ascent. The elastic gaiter also makes handling and entry/exit easier thanks to the strap's Quick-Hook-Release function. The Quantum FREE PRO is equipped with a dual-density Vibram sole that makes contact with the ground and the binding, combining improved grip with zero loss of power transmission during descents thanks to two types of rubber of different hardness. With a liner made from recycled materials and the PU-free outer layer of the liner, the boot also scores highly for durability.
