Xavier De Le Rue's XV SPLIT remains one of the benchmarks in the performance freeride segment. This new version retains the directional shape, the reversed flex that is thicker under the front foot, the pintail, the AmpTek Elite camber profile, the RadCut and the high-density die-cut base of the solid version, but benefits from the lightness of the new GreenLightPop core. A weighty argument for all those who dream of the climb as much as the descent. Explosive pop and stability The AmpTek Elite Rocker profile increases pop and improves edge stability Smooth heel-to-toe edge transitions RadCut consists of a unique combination of positive, or classic, turn radii between the feet and multiple reverse radii at the insert exits, allowing the board's contact point with the snow to move with the rider's speed in real time and optimise the line at all times. The board becomes more manoeuvrable at low speeds and more stable at high speeds. Controlled power and manoeuvrability A Super Directional Reverse flex profile that is very stiff under the front foot for steering control and power, less stiff underfoot for greater stability at high speeds, and softer in the tail for snow feel and manoeuvrability Power and Shock Absorption Our stiffest flex for maximum power in freeride and to improve shock absorption regardless of the terrain or snow type Snow feel and lightness The combination of Lightweight Poplar and Bamboo stringers significantly reduces the weight of our new GreenLightPop core while facilitating heel-to-toe edge transitions
