MAXTRON Polaris is a folding electric bike designed for urban commuting, short trips, and leisure riding. It combines a durable high-strength steel frame with 20×4.0-inch wide tyres, offering strong stability and a comfortable riding experience across city roads and light off-road terrain. Whether used for daily commuting, weekend outings, or travel in a camper or campsite setting, it provides a practical and reliable riding solution.
The bike is equipped with a 48V 13Ah lithium battery that delivers stable power output for everyday use. Under standard riding conditions, it provides a range of approximately 45 km, making it suitable for commuting, shopping, and short city trips. The battery system is designed to balance endurance and convenience, supporting regular daily mobility needs.
A 250W brushless motor powers the Polaris, delivering smooth and efficient assistance for urban roads, gentle slopes, and general riding conditions. With a maximum speed of 25 km/h, it complies with European regulations, ensuring safe and legal use in city environments while maintaining a comfortable riding pace.
The 20×4.0-inch fat tyres significantly enhance grip and stability by increasing the contact area with the ground. This allows the bike to perform well on asphalt, cobblestones, gravel paths, and other uneven surfaces. In addition, the wider tyres help reduce vibrations from the road, improving overall ride comfort.
For added comfort, the bike is fitted with a single-leg aluminium-steel front suspension fork that helps absorb shocks from bumps and uneven terrain. This improves handling stability and reduces rider fatigue when traveling over rough city streets or country roads.
The Shimano 7-speed gear system provides flexible shifting options to adapt to different riding conditions. It makes flat roads easier to ride, reduces effort when climbing hills, and ensures smoother control when descending, giving riders a more versatile cycling experience.
Safety is enhanced through a power-cut disc brake system, which automatically cuts motor assistance when braking. This ensures faster and more controlled stopping performance in both dry and wet conditions, improving overall riding safety.
An integrated speed sensor system adjusts motor assistance according to riding speed, providing consistent and well-balanced power delivery throughout the ride. This helps improve efficiency while maintaining a smooth riding experience.
The folding mechanism allows the bike to be quickly collapsed for easy storage and transport. It can be conveniently stored in a car trunk, apartment, office, or camper van, making it especially practical for users with limited space or those who travel frequently.
Designed with rider comfort in mind, the Polaris is suitable for users between 160 and 200 cm in height and supports a maximum load of 120 kg. Its ergonomic frame geometry ensures a stable and comfortable riding posture for a wide range of riders.
Overall, the MAXTRON Polaris combines portability, wide-tyre stability, and electric assistance into one practical design, making it a dependable choice for both daily commuting and relaxed leisure cycling.
