Designed to be compatible with saddles featuring the Sterling tree, the Sterling gullet plate is a key component for achieving the best fit for your horse. Specifically designed for use with models like the Bastia synthetic jump saddle, this adjustable gullet plate allows riders to modify the saddle width to accommodate their horse's changing shape. The shape of a horse's back can change over time due to factors such as age, fitness level, exercise intensity, or even seasonal changes. Therefore, it is crucial to keep your saddle properly fitted to maintain your horse's comfort, freedom of movement, and long-term performance. A well-fitted saddle avoids pressure points and promotes better communication between the horse and rider. The Sterling gullet plate, when used in conjunction with the Sterling gullet size gauge, provides a reliable system to help you choose the most appropriate width for your horse without any guesswork. Narrow Medium Medium wide Wide Extra wide This gullet plate is specifically compatible with saddles built on the Sterling tree, including the Bastia synthetic jump saddle, ensuring a secure fit and easy installation.
