Modern carbon rims and tires pose a real challenge to traditional tire changers, and the new wave of tubeless configurations has taken the challenge to a new level. Tire fits are tighter than ever, while carbon rims require non-metallic levers to resist damage to the bead or braking surface during use.
Premio tire changers have been designed for safe use on carbon fiber rims if used correctly and as intended. To ensure correct use on your specific wheel set, you MUST refer to your wheel manufacturer's instructions on the use of tire changers. Features:

Premio tire levers should ONLY be used to remove the tire. Never use a tire iron to facilitate tire installation. This is not the intended use of the tool and could result in damage.
Make sure the blade of your tire changer is correctly oriented before use. Using a tire iron upside down is not only more difficult, it can also cause damage.
We do not recommend the use of tire levers if you are using latex inner tubes.
