The Baitrunners (Big and Medium) are back with a host of new technologies Shimano.
The Baitrunner XTB-LC is available in two sizes - 'Big' with its impressive casting performance and a smaller 'Medium' size ideal for medium-range fishing. Both are equipped with the latest technology, including oversized spools for long-range fishing and Shimano's famous Baitrunner freespool function. The 'Big Baitrunner' has legendary status among carp anglers. If you're looking for a long-range reel with Shimano's famous freespool function, this is the reel for you. The original version was launched over 25 years ago to great acclaim. Years of ingenuity and increasingly advanced technology have been added to this latest version. The result is a reel you can trust completely. Long casting, with big retrieve power, pair it with any 12 or 13 foot TX rod, with an Intensity action, and you've got a setup that will maximize your performance and enhance your fishing pleasure.Inside the black body of the Baitruunner XTB-LC is a combination of HAGANE Gear and X-SHIP technologies. They deliver a smooth, powerful spin with enormous retrieve power to tackle the biggest carp and even the toughest European catfish. The large aluminium AR-C spool of the largest model can hold a huge amount of line and benefits from Slow Speed oscillation combined withAero Wrap, giving perfect line winding. However, for anglers who don't need such a large capacity, line reducers are included. For medium and smaller waters, check out the 'Medium' version, which offers an excellent compromise of size and balance, while retaining all the important features and attributes of its big brother.
