The Maxxis Rekon tire is an aggressive trail tire inspired by the renowned Maxxis Ikon, designed for mixed and technical terrain. Its central knobs provide ideal stability, while the L-shaped side knobs ensure excellent grip in corners. Equipped with EXO sidewall reinforcement, it offers superior protection against abrasion and tearing. This version is also tubeless-ready, allowing for use with or without an inner tube. Its 3C MaxxTerra compound is a blend of softer rubbers that offers more traction than MaxxSpeed and less rolling resistance than MaxxGrip. In this Wide Trail version, it has been optimized for rims with an internal width of 30 to 35mm.
