The Précision Carbone riding helmet is a technical marvel, designed to ensure your safety. It meets the new equestrian standards for 2023. Its 100% carbon shell and shiny black ventilation grids set it apart. Its strap and triangle are chromed. It is perfect for riders looking for a lighter helmet with optimal protection. The Carbone collection features a 100% carbon shell. Its vents are shiny black. Its strap and triangle are chrome silver. Composition of your Précision Carbone Eclipse riding helmetThe shellThe outer shell of the helmet, which is thicker, is made of ABS. Its role is to disperse the impact energy across the surface of the helmet. When your helmet hits an object, the shell distributes the shock wave by dissipating it. Stiff and lightweight, it is known for its great scratch resistance. The inner paddingFeaturing a new innovative shape and made of EPS (expanded polystyrene), the inner padding absorbs the energy emitted by shocks by dispersing it. It then crushes and becomes much denser. The inside is partly covered with blue perforated pads: the ERT (Energy Reduction Technology). This new technology allows for better energy distribution from both small and large impacts. Moreover, it has an anti-rotational action. Acting along the shell during a moving impact, the perforated pads follow the movements of your head to limit the risk of trauma. The ventilationThe Précision Carbone Eclipse helmet features a completely new ventilation system: we have placed 11 holes inside the helmet and 2 vents at the front and back of the helmet. This innovation provides better air circulation and good thermal regulation. Ventilation channels are also located below the visor. They also promote better internal ventilation. The fastening systemCompletely redesigned for more practicality, the helmet fastening has a Fidlock magnetic buckle. Its purpose is to secure the helmet with one hand. The fastening of the riding helmet is equipped with a safety ring made of polyamide. It ensures double protection for the rider. The harness made of leather and nylon ensures that the helmet fits well on the rider's head. It is a 3-point fastening. The Y-shaped design of the fastening system has points that are spaced further apart, which reduces helmet rotation. The inner liningMade of foams, Lycra, and 2D mesh, the lining allows for a perfect adjustment of your riding helmet. The lining is removable. We recommend cleaning it regularly. Discover the lining of the Précision helmet here. The foams are sold with the helmet. The comfort feature? Elastic bands at the back of the helmet allow for decompression at the back of the head. Thus, you can ride with your hair tied back in complete peace of mind. The Eclipse visor The Eclipse visor is inspired by women's hats. Elegant, the wide visor has been designed to protect the skin from the sun. The European standard EN1384-2023 requires the visor to flex when a load is applied to it. This is to prevent it from breaking and injuring the rider. The visors of Antarès helmets are therefore intentionally flexible. The protective bag Antarès is sold with the riding helmet.
