The Cristallo Warm Training Longsleeve by Salewa is a warm merino wool top designed for intense winter mountain adventures. Named after Monte Cristallo, located in the Dolomites northeast of Cortina, it's made of a hybrid material combining merino wool and polyamide, which resists odor, wicks sweat away from the skin in a flash, and dries just as quickly. The material is composed of 78% merino wool and 22% polyamide. Wool fibers surround a nylon core, making the material stronger and more durable. Furthermore, the synthetic fibers are enriched with Responsive technology, a blend of thermoreactive minerals. Responsive converts body-generated far infrared (FIR) energy and then slowly returns it to muscle tissue, allowing the body to maintain thermal comfort for longer, increasing endurance, and accelerating recovery. Because the technology is an integral part of the material, it won't wash out. Cristallo features a fitted, athletic cut with a round neckline and ergonomically cut sleeves for maximum freedom of movement. A special weaving process enhances the properties of the wool and allows for a single-piece, seamless torso, ensuring superior comfort without skin irritation.
