At just 96 g and reduced volume, the FD-R9250 is smaller, sleeker and lighter than previous generations. Its compact format makes integration on modern frames easier without compromising durability.
The 33% reduced front area decreases aerodynamic drag, contributing to better performance at high speed. This gain is particularly useful for performance-focused and competitive cyclists.
Designed for braze-on mounting and only compatible with 12V Di2 systems, it supports large chainrings of 50–55T, a chainline of 43.5 mm, and a chain angle of 61° to 66°, ensuring optimal compatibility with high-end road groups.
