The Shimano SLX SM-RT70 disc rotors feature a 3-layer Ice Technologies construction: an aluminum core sandwiched between two stainless steel layers. This structure dramatically reduces rotor surface temperatures by up to 100°C, cutting brake fade and noise even under sustained braking.
For even greater performance, pair with Ice-Tech brake pads with aluminum cooling fins—these can lower pad surface temperatures by an additional 50°C.
Key Features:
Note: 180mm and 203mm rotors may require larger caliper mount adapters. Always check your frame and fork disc size compatibility.
