The superior performance of the Quantum EVO W, featuring a 99 mm last width, is based on the innovative two-piece shell and cuff construction, combined with an anatomical fit. This construction consists of an extremely strong and rigid outer shell, as well as a full-length sole offering great freedom of movement when climbing. The carbon-reinforced polyamide increases the rigidity of the construction. However, the optimised central opening with a stretch gaiter still allows the boot to be put on and taken off easily. Climbing is made easier by its low weight and its two-piece EVO Dual Link cuff, which offers a 65° range of motion. Once the climb is complete, the raised cuff with shin padding can be easily locked using the Hike & Ride buckle and the Velcro Power Strap, allowing for an outstanding fit and optimal power transmission. Furthermore, the wide Velcro strap features a memory function and Quick Release buckles, and only needs to be adjusted once. Thanks to the extreme rigidity of the shell material, all of the skier's inputs are transmitted to the ski without any loss of energy, for optimal performance and maximum ski control. The multi-layer ID Touring liner with AUTOFIT padding is particularly lightweight and guarantees perfect heel hold, a pleasant temperature and superior comfort. MyFit technology allows the Quantum EVO W to be adapted to the shape of the foot. The profiled Vibram sole (Rocker) with different levels of hardness offers good grip in the snow and during climbing, as well as smooth power transmission to the bindings and ski.
