Sprenger Eggbutt Mullen – Hard Carbon – 16 mm – Stainless Steel
Peace, stability and even pressure – for clear aids and a quiet contact
The Sprenger Eggbutt Mullen with a hard carbon mouthpiece is a good choice for riders looking for a stable, unjointed bit that provides consistent pressure distribution across the entire tongue. Thanks to the straight Mullen design, the pressure isn't concentrated in a single spot, but distributed evenly—which is particularly pleasant for sensitive or young horses.
Why this bit makes the difference:
• Unbroken (rod-shaped) mouthpiece – for stable, constant pressure over the tongue
• Made of hard carbon – smooth surface, wear-resistant and comfortable in the mouth
• Fixed Eggbutt sides – for a smooth, slip-free position
• Gentle on the corners of the mouth – no pinching or irritation
• Suitable for horses that become restless from hinge points or too much movement
The slight curve in the mouthpiece and the smooth surface of the hard carbon make this bit comfortable and stable in the mouth , without excessive sharpness or disturbing pressure points. It provides clear cues without miscommunication and promotes a steady hand.
