Mountain bikes have changed over the last decade since the original Arch rim helped introduce the world to tubeless technology. With an asymmetrical rim shape that is 28 mm wide and made from ultra-strong 6069 alloy, today’s Arch MK4 rim has evolved to match these higher-performing bikes. Through years of testing and refining this rim, one thing has never changed: versatility. More than ever, when you want a reliable rim that can handle all the trails, the Arch MK4 is made for you. The Arch MK4 rim is light enough for XC racing but is born from research and testing on the Enduro World Series circuit, making it an excellent rim for anyone looking to improve both downhill and uphill performance. Made from lightweight and durable 6069 aluminum alloy, with a strengthened spoke bed and an internal width of 28 mm, ideal for 2.2 to 2.5" tires, the Arch MK4 can help you climb hills more easily and make the descent even better. The BST-Asymmetrical shape of the Arch MK4 enhances the spoke angle, allowing for a generally stronger wheel build. Unlike most asymmetrical rims that struggle with tubeless inflation and constant sealing through tight corners, the shape of the Arch MK4 is designed to equalize pressure for easy inflation and incredibly strong tire retention on both sides of the rim. Stan’s patented bead socket technology, combined with a stronger asymmetric design, lightweight and durable 6069 alloy, and the perfect rim width to balance control and weight, makes the Arch MK4 your best choice for versatile riding. Whether it's climbing rocky switchbacks or attacking berms on every descent, the Arch MK4 is ready for whatever you can throw at it.
