The Beal Contract 10.5 mm rope is made of polyamide with a core-sheath construction (61% core / 39% sheath) that provides an optimal balance between flexibility and strength. Its sheath protects the core while limiting slippage.
Designed for professional use, the rope has a breaking load of 2700 daN, a knot strength of 1600 daN, and an impact force factor of 5.5 kN, ensuring performance meets safety requirements.
With an elongation of 2.9% (50/150 kg) and the ability to withstand 5 falls factor 1, this type A rope (semi-static) limits excessive movement while providing energy absorption suitable for rope interventions.
Suitable for height work, rappel, controlled descent, and top-roping, the Beal Contract 10.5 mm is designed for industrial and professional use where reliability and value for money are essential.
Before first use, it is recommended to wet and then dry the rope to stabilize its elongation (approximately 5% shrinkage) and consider this variation when calculating required lengths.
