The Beal Contract 10.5 mm is made of polyamide with a core/braid distribution of 61/39, offering a balance between flexibility and abrasion resistance. The sheath is impregnated to enhance durability and protection against abrasion.
Designed as a Type A rope, it has a break load of 2700 daN and a knot strength in 8 of 1600 daN, with an impact force factor measured around 5.5 kN. These features make it a reliable rope for height work applications and technical interventions.
With a measured elongation of 2.9% (50/150 kg), the rope offers low static elongation, ensuring good stability under sustained loads and precise control of positions during maneuvers.
