Pilot sunglasses are a classic eyewear style, and Polaroid has given them its own twist. Their distinctive teardrop-shaped lenses are held in place by frames that are as thin as they are iconic—essential details for this style. Polaroid has added extra-long, transparent temple tips, a visible core, and a laser-engraved logo. With an all-around fit and two different frame sizes, they can also be fitted with prescription lenses.
Eyewear Size Guide (in millimeters)
Eyewear sizes are expressed in millimeters (mm) and primarily refer to the lens width, a key measurement for ensuring a comfortable and stylish fit according to face size.
How to choose the right size?
50–52 mm → Small faces Recommended for thin or narrow faces. They offer a balanced fit without protruding from the face.
53–55 mm → Medium faces The most common and versatile size. Ideal for most medium-sized faces.
56–58 mm → Medium to large faces Provide greater coverage and a comfortable fit for wider faces.
59–60 mm or more → Large faces Designed for broad faces or those seeking a more wraparound style.
Helpful tip: If you already own glasses that fit well, you can check the size inside the temple and use it as a reference. When in doubt, a mid-size is usually the safest option.
