With the DONIC Desto Next rubber, you take the next logical step after the Desto First. If you learned the basic techniques with the Desto First, the Desto Next will help you focus your game more on spin. The sponge of the Desto Next is a bit harder (42.5°). As a result, the rubber plays a bit more precisely and directly. The ball impact is a little shorter and harder, making it easier to learn the different spin techniques. At the same time, the rubber offers a bit more speed without losing control. Easy2Spin: the Desto Next has been deliberately adapted for the transition from an allround game to an offensive game focused on spin, which is an essential element of modern table tennis – with it, you will learn to hit the ball finely at a closed angle of the racket. The interaction between your stroke arm, the finely tuned action of your wrist, and the optimal adjustment of the strike angle with your equipment will work best; this will quickly evolve your game and level. Innovation for more feel - GO Technology The GO concept was developed by DONIC to optimally support beginners and children in learning techniques. From the start, appropriate equipment must be used in relation to the skill level. The GO concept brings together several main elements that fit perfectly and facilitate and accelerate the learning of techniques. The two rubber technologies, Air-GO-FX and GO2Spin, are based on the same fundamental principle of making it easier to start in table tennis. In accordance with the different stages of learning, they are the foundation of a future playing system. The AirGO-FX technology combines a purple foam sponge focused on control (Purple2GO-CTRL) of 37.5° with slightly longer flexible pimples. This results in a soft and gentle contact with the ball, during which you gain a precise feel of the ball. Simultaneously, the sponge is elastic enough to provide the required speed. The GO2Spin rubber offers a sticky, slightly tacky surface that is specially designed for beginner players and learning. The ball doesn't slip but grips perfectly, allowing for reliable spin, a sure touch, and rapid progress during learning. A well-developed overall concept As an integral part of the overall concept DONIC-GO, which starts with the Desto First wood as the base rubber, the Desto Next, in combination with the harmoniously adapted DONIC Zentra woods, unleashes its full potential. Thus, the system supports players from learning techniques to evolving into a game focused on spin with impeccable technique. Made in Germany The DONIC Desto Next, like the DONIC Desto First, is produced in Germany. It impresses with its highest precision, excellent durability, and extraordinary playing qualities. It signifies reliable performance and consistent quality for DONIC – from the beginning up to the highest level. • Next logical step after the Desto First - ideal for players who want to progress towards a spin-based game. • A harder sponge (42.5°), a more precise and direct game, with a sharper ball contact - Available in 2 sponge thicknesses, from 1.8 mm up to 2.0 mm. • More spin with controllable speed - facilitates learning modern spin techniques. • A shorter and harder ball impact - supports fine contact with the ball at a closed angle of the racket. • Easy2Spin concept - easy transition from allround play to offensive play focused on spin. • DONIC-GO technology - specially developed to support learning and development phases. • AirGO-FX technology - purple foam sponge focused on control (Purple2GO-CTRL, 37.5°) with flexible pimples for more feel. • GO2Spin surface - A soft, slightly tacky rubber for reliable spin and sharp ball contact. • Integral part of the DONIC GO overall concept - perfectly aligned with the DONIC First and DONIC Zentra woods. • Highest precision, very good durability, and consistent quality.
