Twistboxes is a rooftop cargo carrier with a difference. It offers a spacious 520 liters of packing capacity when mounted on your car, perfect for all your travel and storage needs. Yet, when not in use, Twistboxes rolls up neatly, occupying just 30 cm of storage space at home. Unlike traditional rooftop cargo carriers, which can be cumbersome to store due to their bulk, Twistboxes is designed for easy handling and compact storage, reducing the space required in your home. This innovative design not only adds convenience but also contributes to environmental conservation by reduced air resistance by a 25%.
Twistboxes patented design provides one of the safest rooftop cargo solutions available. Unlike traditional plastic roof boxes, Twistboxes features a stainless steel base plate that ensures unmatched stability and durability, particularly during sudden braking. Engineered with safety as a top priority, this robust construction keeps your cargo secure on every journey. Twistboxes has no speed limit restrictions, giving you confidence and freedom on the road. Exceptional Safety – Tested to Child-Seat Standards Twistboxes has been independently crash-tested at the Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute (VTI) and withstood impacts of 49 km/h and 26 g—the same crash conditions used for UNECE R129 child-seat certification. Our roof box is engineered to meet or exceed ISO 11154:2023 for roof load carriers and delivers safety levels far above traditional plastic roof boxes. Twistboxes remains secure, stable, and intact even under extreme forces—setting a new benchmark for roof box safety.
Twistboxes make packing a breeze with side access or a full-open option, allowing easy loading from any angle. The folding sides protect your car during the packing process, so there’s no need to climb into the back seat. Packing has never been this convenient!
Conscious Design Our rooftop cargo carrier is not only sleek in appearance but also drive-friendly. Twistboxes reduces air resistance by 25% compared to traditional rooftop carriers of similar size, making it a more fuel-efficient choice. Rigorous tests confirm its aerodynamic efficiency, contributing to a lower impact of energy consumption. When not in use, Twistboxes folds down to an ultra-slim 5 cm on your car roof and our protective case (accessories) mounted on it allowing for hassle-free garage entry without removal and even less air resistance when driving on road. You can conveniently leave it mounted after your trip, eliminating the need for frequent reinstallation.
Weighing just 16.5 kg, Twistboxes is easy to handle and can be mounted on your car without assistance. Its compact, roll-up design makes it as easy to carry as a bag, allowing for effortless transport between home and parking. This feature is especially beneficial for city dwellers who need flexibility and convenience in a rooftop carrier.
Twistboxes is built for durability and stability, maintaining its form even when empty. Constructed from waterproof and UV-resistant materials, it features robust zippers designed to withstand significant stress and force. Rigorously tested in extreme weather conditions, from +50°C down to -35°C, Twistboxes handles everything from intense sun to heavy snowfall with ease, ensuring lasting quality you can rely on.
Enjoy a noise-free journey with Twistboxes, designed to eliminate the whistling and whining sounds often associated with traditional rooftop cargo carriers. Travel in peace, no matter the distance.
