Frequently Asked Questions Q What makes Durafast Elite different from a standard training swimsuit? Durafast Elite uses a 230gsm heavy-gauge polyester construction that is 100% chlorine-proof throughout its lifetime, not just for the first few sessions. TYR guarantees 300 or more hours of performance before any degradation in shape or colour, making it significantly more durable than standard polyester training suits which typically last 100 to 150 hours. Q What is the Cutoutfit silhouette? The Cutoutfit is TYR’s open-feel training silhouette, combining a low neckline, an open back and a high-cut leg. It is designed to give maximum freedom of movement through the shoulders and arms during stroke work, while the high-cut leg reduces drag and creates a streamlined profile in the water.
