More adjustability. Better retention.
With nearly 20 years of use as the most popular chain guide on the Downhill Mountain Bike World Cup circuit, e*thirteen guides are trusted by the world's best racers. Always looking for ways to improve the rider experience, we designed the Vario chain guide with rider preferences and choices in mind, allowing riders to customize the guide to their specific needs.
The downhill guides are ready for the toughest conditions. They are ideal for all downhill and freeride riding on bikes with 140mm of travel and more.
Features of the "Lower Only" version: Versatile mounting: The frame can be mounted inside or outside the guide's backplate to better suit different bike setups.
Protection options: Includes a selection of chainring protectors for 30-36 tooth sizes.
Optional lower roller: For those who prefer it, the downhill guides can be used with or without the stealthy, super quiet and low-friction lower roller, for maximum chain retention.
