Innovative thermal regulation (Polartec® Alpha®), windproof and water-repellent properties, compressibility: this is the recipe that makes the ksyrium Thermo Vest the perfect back-up vest for autumn and spring. A must-have for road cycling, bike-packing and mountain biking, among many other outdoor activities.ADVANTAGES: Polartec® Alpha®: warm without overheating: Polartec® Alpha® is an innovative insulation designed for intense winter activities such as cross-country skiing, ski mountaineering or trail running. In these activities, athletes tend to cope with extreme temperature variations without the option of shedding several layers. Polartec® Alpha® successfully combines warmth, compressibility and extreme breathability like no other insulation, making it perfectly suited to the needs of all cyclists when combined with lightweight windproof fabric. Windproof and water-repellent: Mavic has combined Polartec® Alpha® with our best windproof fabric. Extremely light, stretchy and water-repellent, it's the perfect combination to optimize the performance of Ksyrium Alpha® jackets and vests. Ultra-polyvalent, compresses into a pocket: Versatility is the key design idea behind Ksyrium Alpha® jackets and vests. Mavic set out to create the perfect insulating jacket, which you could use not only from autumn to spring, but also for all outdoor activities: Use it with a long sleeve jersey for autumn or spring outings, and stow it in a pocket when temperatures turn milder. Use it as an insulating layer on the coldest winter days under a jacket. Take it with you on all your outdoor activities: mountain biking, bike packing, cross-country skiing, ski touring, hiking...DETAILS: 2 zipped back pockets Reflective details DWR treatment (PFC-free)
