Wool is a living material that adapts to your body temperature. In warm temperatures, moisture and body heat are absorbed by the wool and transported away from the body. In colder temperatures, warmth is retained thanks to the millions of microscopic air pockets that naturally occur in wool. Even when wet (absorbing up to 30% of its weight in moisture), wool keeps you warm. An additional benefit is that wool is naturally odor-resistant.
