What do you absolutely need to know about this part?
This is an original spare part sold individually, without assembly tools. The springs, with a 24 mm diameter and 29 spirals, are made of steel treated to prevent rust via electro-zincing. They have a 4N/mm stiffness. In the lab, they undergo 45000 cycles of extension from 15 to 95 mm without breaking or failing. Please make sure to check if this part is compatible with your equipment. If unsure, reach out to our teams.
What tool do I need to assemble this spring?
The springs are installed under tension, which is tough to do with pliers. We have referenced a tool that will give you a good grip for installing or removing all your springs. TRAMPOLINE - SPRING TOOL (ref: 8881248) Copy and paste the 8xxxxxx reference number into the Decathlon search bar to easily find and order it!
When will I need to use this part?
Noticed that a spring is loose or broken? You can repair your equipment with this part. The spring is a wearing part on a trampoline, subject to heavy strain. Take some time to regularly check its assembly as one broken or loose spring can cause more to break. Refer to the user guide to understand how to use and maintain your equipment.
How to maintain your product to ensure it lasts
Ever heard of overwintering? In winter, we recommend that you remove the net, jumping surface and protection foams and store them indoors where the temperature will remain stable. Avoid garden sheds and uninsulated attics. The textile parts of your trampoline are the most fragile and therefore the most important to protect from winter conditions. For the frame, we recommend using a protective cover.
Are there other spring references available?
Springs are specific to each model. So it is important to check compatibility. If this reference is unavailable, you can find the same spring here, sold in packs of 10: 10-SPRING TRAMPOLINE KIT - TRAMPOLINE SPARE PARTS (ref: 8917831) Copy and paste the 8xxxxxx reference number into the Decathlon search bar to easily find and order it!
