THE BENEFITS OF AN EXERCISE BIKE
It is a full, well-rounded workout that: - Builds your ENDURANCE - TONES your lower body muscles In order to keep fit, the WHO recommends doing this activity on a regular basis and at a moderate intensity (light perspiration; you should be able to hold a conversation while working out): 22 min/day In order to lose weight, and body fat in particular, the WHO recommends doing this activity on a regular basis and at a moderate pace, but for a longer period of time: 44 min/day
FLYWHEEL AND SMOOTH PEDALLING
The exercise bike's flywheel affects the smoothness of pedalling. The heavier the flywheel, the smoother the pedalling and the more enjoyable your workout will be.
THE CONSOLE, YOUR VIRTUAL COACH
The VM 130 display monitor features four functions: calories burned, distance travelled, session duration, current speed. These functions can help you reach your goals and track your workout performance.
TIPS TO PROPERLY ADJUST YOUR BIKE
Adjusting the height of the seat is important to ensure that you maintain a correct position while pedalling. Stand next to the bike and adjust the seat to the height of your hip.
TIPS FOR ADJUSTING THE STABILITY OF YOUR BIKE
For optimal comfort, we recommend placing specially designed floor pads under your bike (DF 920 floor pads). These foam pads will help to: optimise the stability of the bike when in use, reduce vibrations and noise, and protect your floor. Domyos exercise bikes have two stabilisers at the back of the base to ensure the bike remains perfectly stable during your workouts regardless of the type of flooring.
TIPS FOR MOVING YOUR BIKE
Your exercise bike is equipped with wheels at the front to make it easy to move. To move it, stand facing the front of it. Block the bike with your foot while pushing down on the handlebars to swing the bike up to rest on its wheels. Gently push it forward in the desired direction.
