Design details

What makes the Wizzy Tarmak ball better for children learning to play basketball?
Basketball is a sport that requires dexterity and agility. To make learning easier for children, we created a ball that is 18% lighter than other balls of the same size. This makes it easier for them to score and pass successfully. The outer cover has a foam layer, making it softer than other balls. Little hands won't be hurt, which will help your child build their confidence. The only FIBA-approved size 5 ball in the world.
What does FIBA approval on a basketball mean?
FIBA, the International Basketball Federation, is the organisation that governs basketball internationally. FIBA establishes the official basketball rules as well as the specifications related to equipment and sports installations used for international and Olympics matches. The accreditation given to our Wizzy size 5 ball is real recognition of its quality and practicality.
What ball should you use?
The Wizzy Tarmak is the ideal ball for playing with the Tarmak Hoop, which can be set up anywhere. The Wizzy is a size 5 basketball, 18% lighter than a classic ball. It is the right size for the Hoop and means that any player, particularly smaller ones, can shoot from further away! The Wizzy balls range is designed to match the Hoops range so you can be completely coordinated
What ball size to choose?
The ball size depends on the player's age and gender. Size 1: Baby basket, ages 3 and up Size 3: Girls or Boys from 4 to 6 years old Size 5: Boys from 7 to 11 years / Girls from 7 to 13 Size 6: Boys from 12 to 13 years / Girls - Women ages 14 and up Size 7: Boys - Men ages 14 and up If you want a very durable ball, go for a rubber ball.
