Kids Glenarm poncho

With a waterproof rating of 1000 Schmerber (= 1000 mm), it’s safe to say that your kids will be protected from light rain in this poncho. In practical terms, during testing, we measure a fabric's resistance to a water column, in mm (based on the ISO 811 standard). Our component can withstand the pressure of a 1000 mm column of water, approximately equivalent to a rain shower lasting 1 hour. So, even if the heavens open, your kids will stay dry.

Thanks to its loose-fitting design, this poncho can be worn over a jacket or a jumper, as well as over a small (20 litre) backpack. It will cover your kids from their head to upper legs, and the drawstrings make it easy to adjust the hood. When the rain stops, you just need to store this poncho in its own front pocket. Once the rain eases off, you can pull it off over your head, and store it away. However, once you’re back at home or in your car, take the poncho out of the pocket to avoid any potential issues with condensation or humidity. Air-dry the poncho before folding it away again.
