When you're wearing a backpack, the weight inside doesn't tip backwards. Why? Because the straps return to the body at the hips! This was an inspiration for us. Initially, our straps were to come forward, but the weight in the rear game bag created an imbalance. Then our designers worked out a solution to align them with the stress of the weight at the bottom of the back. The whole weight was therefore properly distributed and you enjoy good support.

On the back, the mesh ensures that it is more comfortable to wear. In addition, air circulation is facilitated by a ventilation system that enables optimal perspiration wicking. Ideal when you are hunting in lowlands in the sun at the start of the hunting season, no? Even in autumn when temperatures are still high, this gilet accompanies you during your excursions hunting pheasant, quail or rabbit. You are cooler, you get less tired, and you can keep moving with ease

With this hybrid gilet providing good ventilation, you're cooler than with a conventional gilet thanks to its sleek design on the chest and back. You therefore enjoy complete ventilation. When we're too hot, blood flow increases, we sweat, and our brain uses more resources to maintain our normal temperature. Ultimately, it takes longer for you to get tired.

Before you set off hunting, we recommend that you adjust the gilet at the belt and chest level using the straps and the buckle on the belt. This helps ensure an optimal fit with your body shape. Note that it has 2 large, rigid front pockets (each able to accommodate a box of cartridges), closed by a press stud. 2 water pockets are located on the back, with 1 game bag fastened with a horizontal zip on the top and press studs on the sides.

Don't forget the 2 zipped pockets inside the 2 large front cargo pockets that allow you to carry documents such as your permits, insurance or certification. Advantages of this gilet? The foam strips on the inside and on the straps are there to protect your shoulders and back from the stresses you might experience at these points. Finally, the mesh fabric on the top, with small ventilation channels, facilitates air circulation.

This project dates back to 2018. Everything started with considering how a gilet is used, having observed hunters in the field. 3 main requirements emerged: the ease of carrying accessories, a lightweight design and comfort when wearing the gilet. Ideas emerged over several months, accompanied by prototypes and field tests. Our design team then came to this solution, with the option to adapt the gilet's accessories in accordance with requirements and use.

This gilet is intended to be the outermost layer because it can be worn with a simple t-shirt in the summer, or on top of a jacket in the winter. Its 100% cotton fabric is very resistant to abrasion, and is also water-repellent (meaning it protects against light rain). With this innovative model, you can quickly access the game bag: this bag can be expanded using the 2 press studs on the sides, and very easily cleaned with its zip. Weight of the gilet? Just 930 g.
