RETURNS WITH DECATHLON IRELAND

WITH DECATHLON IRELAND YOU HAVE 365 DAYS TO CHANGE YOUR MIND FOLLOWING YOUR ONLINE PURCHASE!
You have 365 days after your online purchase to return a product and ask for a refund. The product needs to be in original packaging with labels attached.
Things to keep in mind before requesting a return:
The item must be in its original, unused, unaltered, and unwashed condition.
The item must be returned with the original tags and packaging material.
Decathlon does not accept returns on perishable products (e.g. food, beverages) and products with hygiene concerns (e.g. undergarments, sports bras). Decathlon does not accept returns of products that are customized for the client at our stores.
All shipping fees which may have been charged during the original purchase are non-refundable.



In the rare occasion, if you have a product with a manufacturing defect, don't worry. All Decathlon passion brand products come with a minimum guarantee of 2 years.* If beyond 30 days of use, we will firstly offer a repair solution. If we are unable to repair your item within a reasonable period, we will exchange the product. If no equivalent product is available, we will offer a full refund.


*All returns and warranty related claims are subject to inspection by our team of sports experts and may not be accepted.

RETURNS Q&A

How to return your items:

1. Print the invoice for your order, you will find this attached to your confirmation of shipping email.
2. Circle around the items on the invoice that you are returning back to us.
3. Enclose the invoice inside the parcel with the items you are returning.

4. We have two options for you to send your parcel back to us (postage fees will be at your charge):


a) An Post
The following steps are only for packages that are less than 150 cm in length and less than 20kg. This is not for bulky items such as bikes or fitness machines. Use https://www.anpost.com/Post-Parcels/Click-and-Post/Returns to return your package with AnPost. An Post needs around 10 working days to return your package to our Ballymun store and we need an additional 10 days to process the refund.
b) Drop2Shop.
Please be aware only parcels up to 60x50x50cm, and 10kg will be accepted by Drop2Shop. Use Drop2Shop to return your parcel for a wider range of drop off points, and a cheaper postage fee. As standard all orders placed on Decathlon.ie can avail of 365 days from the date of purchase to return unused/unworn items. This applies to both home delivery and click & collect purchases

There are two methods of return available for online purchases. You can avail of our postal methods of return via An Post or Coll8 which can be seen above in question 1 or if you are in a position to do so you can return your online order free of charge to either of our Irish stores in Limerick or Ballymun in Dublin with your order invoice and card used for initial payment. (Note all returns are subject to inspection).

Unfortunately we cannot provide a postal exchange for an online order. Should you wish to change your order for an alternative size you would need to complete your postal return as normal for a refund and replace your order or bring the item to our store in Ballymun where an exchange or refund can be facilitated upon inspection if you bring your order invoice and card used for payment.

Utilizing the An Post method of return will cost €4.95 for a postal return or €6.00 for a collection and this is for items under 1.5m in length and 20kg in weight. Alternatively you can utilize the Coll8 "Drop2Shop" method of return for €3.94 for items 60x50x50cm and less than 10kg with details on both to be found here https://www.decathlon.ie/content/8-365-days-return. For free return of your online order you can visit one of our Irish stores in Limerick or Ballymun in Dublin with your order invoice and card used for payment. Note all returns are subject to inspection.

If you have purchased an item larger than the dimensions allowed by An Post or Coll8 for return such as a bike or piece of home fitness equipment and you wish to return it you must arrange the tracked courier return at your cost to FAO Decathlon Returns, Decathlon, St Margarets Road, Ballymun, Dublin, D11X2NC, and ensure you've enclosed a copy of your order invoice within the packaging. If you wish to return a bulky item due to a suspected warranty related issue please contact our support team in Dublin at [email protected] with a details of the issue including photos/videos.

You can retrieve your order invoice in your email confirmation of shipping following placing your order. Alternatively you can contact our support team at [email protected] if you cannot retrieve your invoice.

As standard all returns are processed 15-20 working days after posting. As soon as our team in Dublin receives and processes the package received the refund will be issued and funds will transfer direct to the original bank account used for payment within 3 working days.

For standard non bulky orders, if you wish to make a postal return we recommend using the postal options listed on Decathlon.ie as they are fully tracked. If you use an alternative provider for your postal return it must be a tracked service so as to allow us to follow up and complete the refund for you. If you utilize a postal method of return that is not tracked we cannot guarantee your return will be processed.

Decathlon does not accept returns on perishable products (e.g. food, beverages) and products with hygiene concerns (e.g. undergarments) or any items that have been personalised.

Items purchased in store in Limerick or Ballymun in Dublin can only be returned in store in Limerick or Ballymun and cannot be posted back.

Items purchased in store can avail of the standard 30 days to return any unworn/unused goods with tags attached for a refund/exchange with your proof of purchase upon inspection.
If you make your purchase in store and utilize your Decathlon account email address at the till at the time of making your purchase this will extend your returns window from 30 to 365 days.

If you have made an online purchase and you feel there is a warranty-related fault you must contact our team at [email protected] with a description of the issue as well as photographic / video evidence of the fault before utilizing our postal returns service. If you are in a position to visit the store with the product and your proof of purchase this is the best alternative. It must be noted that all returns are subject to inspection by our team of experts and may not be accepted.
