An team favourite from the very start, the Bond binding was developed with the help of riders such as Gabe Ferguson, Parker Szumowski and Antti Jussila. The most freestyle-focused binding in our men's collection, the Bond prides itself on being lightweight, flexible and comfortable. This versatile binding is equipped with a no-nonsense strap set sitting on a vibration-damping This Grips!™ basepad. We use recycled materials instead of plastics and EVA. Our manufacturing process relies on over 40% solar energy, and our packaging is FSC-certified, using recycled cardboard and paper instead of plastics. As a result, we have achieved the following reductions in our bindings: - The Bond binding uses ~40% materials by volume and ~25% by weight. - The GT1 Ankle Strap and Wrap Toe Straps have achieved a 70% reduction in CO2 emissions per kg compared to traditional TPU straps. - The castor-bean-based Team Highback offers an approximate 40% reduction in CO2 emissions per kg compared to a nylon highback. - The Sugarcane EVA Shockpad offers an approximate 90% reduction in CO2 emissions per kg compared to traditional EVA. - All K2 Snowboarding bindings come in 100% recyclable packaging. - K2 Snowboarding binding packaging is made from 95% FSC-certified recycled materials.
