Canterbury Speed Falcon 2.0 Elite SG rugby boots are made for players looking for speed, support and traction on soft ground. Combining a lightweight build with targeted support elements, they are designed to accompany rapid movements, acceleration and sprint phases during play. The updated Flightframe technology features an ultra-lightweight one-piece construction. It is designed to support free biomechanical movement at high speed and transfer sprint power from key traction points through the sole. This structure helps support acceleration, changes of direction and other dynamic actions on the pitch. The textured upper includes targeted stitched reinforcements around the foot. These provide localised support while contributing to the boot's overall structure. Its texture is also intended to improve grip between the boot and ball during kicking, helping deliver more controlled contact in play. For a secure fit, the Canterbury Speed Falcon 2.0 Elite SG features an elastic mesh tongue. Targeted breathability contributes to a close, sock-like feel, while the foot remains supported during fast movements. This construction is intended to help limit energy loss during acceleration, breaks and changes of direction. Padded zones add further comfort around the foot. The insole incorporates an Ortholite® footbed with zonal cushioning to complement the close-fitting construction and enhance comfort during effort. The upper combines TPU and polyester, while the insole uses polyester and PU foam. The mounting plate combines polyester, latex and EVA. The stud layout is specifically designed for traction. Two additional TPU studs at the forefoot improve grip during toe-off, complemented by directional TPU studs for extra traction underfoot. Canterbury aluminium studs are designed to balance weight with powerful grip on soft ground. The configuration includes four 11 mm studs at the front and two 13 mm studs at the rear. This arrangement supports propulsion and ground contact. A 7 mm heel raise is designed to reduce strain on the lower legs while encouraging a stronger, more powerful foot position. These SG rugby boots bring together a lightweight upper with targeted support, a breathable elastic tongue, a cushioned Ortholite® footbed and a stud configuration designed for sprinting. They suit rugby players who prefer a close fit and traction adapted to soft pitches. Canterbury warranty: this pair is covered by Canterbury's one-year footwear warranty. To qualify, the boots must be registered on the Canterbury website within 30 days of purchase. Once registration is complete, cover applies for 12 months in the event of a defect or unexpected breakage, subject to the brand's terms and conditions. For a claim, Canterbury customer service requires the registration code, photos of the boots and a brief description of the issue for review. Reference: Q-F000010A89
