The Beal Karma rope is made from high-quality polyamide (nylon) with a 40-strand construction and a sheath covering 39% of the diameter. This design ensures excellent abrasion resistance and longevity suitable for frequent use in climbing and indoor settings.
Compliant with EN 892 standard, the 9.8 mm Karma displays 7 UIAA falls and a shock force of 7.5 kN, ensuring effective energy absorption and reliable safety performance during falls.
With a dynamic elongation of 35% and a static elongation of 9.5%, this rope provides a good compromise between elasticity to cushion falls and stiffness to facilitate maneuvers. The sheath slip is zero (0 mm), ensuring stable handling in belays and belaying systems.
At 70 m long and 9.8 mm in diameter, the Karma is versatile for lead climbing, multi-pitch routes, and training. Its solid orange color enhances visibility during handling and in low-light conditions.
