A new tuning chip for your electric bike with a motor Shimano in a redesigned, completely new hardware and firmware. The SpeedBox 1.2 control chip deactivates the electric bike's speed limiter. Once the chip has been installed, actual data up to 23 km/h are displayed on the e-bike's screen. If you want to check the correct speed and all the driving data during your ride, we recommend that you purchase SpeedBox 1.2 B.Tuning for Shimano - you can check the current driving values in our SpeedBox App - directly on your phone screen. Unlike previous versions, this new product for Shimano engines also connects to the engine's port E-Tube. It is therefore necessary that the bike engine on which you wish to install the new version of SpeedBox for Shimano has a free Port E-Tube. It is not possible to install SpeedBox for Shimano products if the motor does not have a free port E-Tube. Electric bikes with, for example, a Di2 electronic derailleur or an ignition button integrated into the top tube: Satellite System On/Off Switch (EW-SW100, EW-SW300) generally do not have a free Port E-Tube. How does SpeedBox 1.2 work? This chip is also easy to control with the LIGHT button. When the lights are off, you can ride at unlimited speed. You can deactivate the chip's function by simply turning on the lights. If you want to use tuning independently of the lights, don't connect the fork's red terminal during installation, so SpeedBox will always be active. If you have no lights on your bike, SpeedBox 1.2 will also always remain active. Installation We use original connectors for chip production SpeedBox, so chip installation will be really easy and the connection will be correct. We have written detailed instructions and produced videos that will enable every customer to install SpeedBox by lui-même. Removing the adjustment chip is just as easy as assembling it. If you have any problems with the connection, please do not hesitate to contact us. If you wish to install SpeedBox on a new bike, you must first ride the bike for at least 1 kilometer.
