Updated with a new mold and a more open string pattern, the 2024 CX 400 Tour offers excellent shot placement and great feel for intermediate and advanced players. Compared to the CX 200, this racket features a thicker, more powerful frame and provides the explosive acceleration and spin precision that aggressive players desire. For this update, Dunlop has internally restructured the frame, adding a box shape below the 10/2 axis to improve stability, control, and feel. Additional changes for 2024 include the Powergrid Stringtech+, which features greater spacing between strings to enhance spin and power. Dunlop has also updated the stiffness profile, adding more flexibility in the inner structure to improve response and shot while stiffening the racket face to enhance stability and power. To help reduce impact vibrations, a highly elastic material called Vibroshield has been added to the midsection of the frame and shaft. This material is complemented by Sonic Core with Infinergy, a unique flexible material applied to the 3/9 axis of the head for increased comfort and power. Ultimately, with incremental adjustments in feel and response, the CX 400 Tour remains an excellent choice for intermediate and advanced players looking for a modern, fast-playing racket that generates spin while providing superior comfort and feel.
