Redesigned the Dura 2 inserts are lighter and thicker than the original Dura inserts. This model does not have a plow tip and it is thicker thus lasts for a longer time. It has a 7.65 mm contact width for narrow rims and cut outs for reduced weight. The Dura 2 pads are the same spec as Shimano pads and fit Shimano, Sram, TRP and Tektro holders with a set screw. Fits road holders H2, H11 and H14. Also cross holders H6 and H7

Installation Instructions:
• Clean rim surface before installing new pads • Place new Kool-Stop Pads into brake caliper arms and finger tighten nuts • Squeeze brake lever to allow correct pad to rim alignment; tighten the nuts. Do not over tighten • Break In Pads. Full stopping power may not develop until after several braking applications have conditioned the rim surface. Proper "toe in" alignment prevents brake chatter • Check the pad and rim alignment after the pads are broken in and after every ride • Important: Do not ride the bike until the brakes are checked and functioning properly.
